
Submission Rules
Project Rebirth (temporary title)
Project Rebirth is an anthology on life, death, growth, and renewal. We are looking for submissions that center hope and the light at the end of the tunnel, as well as sorrowful and grief-ridden submissions. The goal is to arrange the submissions in a way that demonstrates the cycle of life and death, and how humanity perserves.
Categories
We are currently only accepting poetry and short stories for this anthology.
Word Count
Fiction: 500 - 1000 words
Non-fiction: 500 - 1500 words
Poetry: 5 - 150 words
AI Policy
We have a strict anti-generative AI policy. All work must be fully human-created and owned. All AI-generated submissions are automatically disqualified.
Accepted Content
We will not accept NSFW content. Genres allowed include speculative fiction, romance, horror, mystery, and comedy. All content must be PG-13. Currently, we ask that vulgar language be removed from submissions. All genres are acceptable so long as they fit the theme. You may submit as many pieces as you like so long as they meet the submission guidelines.
Rights
Beyond the Stars Press retains the right to reject any pieces as they see fit. We also retain the right to remove content from the anthology at any time. .
Exclusivity
Beyond the Stars Press will retain exclusivity rights to pieces published in the anthology. Any stories previously published will not be accepted and pieces published in the anthology may not be published elsewhere. If the piece is removed from the anthology, the excusivity rights will revert back to the author. If your piece is accepted into another anthology and you choose to go with them instead, please notify us as soon as possible.
Editing
Beyond the Stars Press will only complete basic proofreading and copy editing. Any pieces that require extensive editing will be declined.
Contract
Authors accepted into the anthology will be required to sign a contract stating that Beyond the Stars Press retains the right to reproduce, publish, and profit off their work. While submissions may be pulled at any time before the contract is signed, pulling a piece and declining publication after a contract is signed will infer a $30 termination fee.
Compensation
As compensation, authors will recieve an official e-pub copy of the anthology.
